Philip Alan Johnson

Philip Alan Johnson, 65, of Zebulon, passed away January 10, 2020 in Raleigh. He was born October 28, 1954 in Durham County,  a son of the late Philip C. Johnson and Emma Jean (Baker) Johnson.

Phil enjoyed sports, especially Duke football. He loved cooking and spending time with his dear friends. Phil will be missed by his wonderful neighbors, Elaine and Bob Christian and his best friend, his dog, Clyde; known also as “that dog”.

Phil is survived by his daughters: Nicole Gianotto and her husband, Frank, of Columbus, NJ, Jessica Johnson and Mandy Johnson both of Garner; his siblings: Michie Johnson of Youngsville, Cindy Bradshaw of Beaufort, and Kim Baker and her husband, Wayne, of Raleigh; 11 amazing grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm, Sunday January 12, 2020 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
