I was so terribly saddened to learn of the passing of Ramona. She was such a joy to have as part of the Clinton High School Band. There are so many good memories of those band days with her and the other members of the Gore family. It is difficult to think of her in any other way than as a smiling, active, young woman. I hope that your memories of the happy times you shared will bring you peace.

Offering our sincere condolences to the Denny family. I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. No doubt this is a very difficult time for the family. Please find comfort in knowing that soon our Heavenly Father (Psalm 83:18) will give those who have fallen asleep in death the opportunity to live again (Rev. 21:4,5) and serve him in a world under much better conditions than what we see today. (Psalm 37:29) May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you at this time. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

My dearest Denny family, so blessed to have gotten to know Ramona through being football moms together. She always had me rolling with her responses to whatever we were talking about. The last time I took food to the family we stood in the driveway and had the funniest conversation and I’ll never forget laughing at what she told me. Here I was worried for her and she was going out of her way to make me smile and laugh. My heart hurts for your lost but smiles with the memories! Love you all.

Message from Clinton High School Class of 1983
December 3, 2017 9:17 PM
To the Family of Mrs. Ramona Gore Denny,
We, the members of the Clinton High School Class of 1983, are so terribly saddened by the passing of our classmate and friend, Ramona. We all have such fond memories of Ramona. We remember all the joy and laughter that she brought to us during our years together matriculating through the Clinton City School System. We remember Ramona as a classmate who loved being a part of the Beta Club, Math Club, French Club and the perhaps her favorite, playing the flute in the CHS Marching Band.
Ramona’s sense of humor, her quick wit, her kind spirit, and her love for others will be remembered often. We will forever carry Ramona’s memory in our hearts. We will remember Ramona’s stories and how they made us feel; by doing that, a part of her will always remain with us.
To the family, we know that words cannot fill the void of this terrible loss, but please know that the CHS Class of 1983 cared deeply for Ramona. We share your grief and wish you comfort and peace of mind during this difficult time.
Respectfully submitted by Gwen Williams Dandridge on behalf of the Clinton High School Class of 1983.

Jeff, Jack, and Brooks, we are so very sorry for your loss. Through baseball and football, we became friends with Ramona. She was genuine and real. She was positive and quick witted, and we very much enjoyed being around her. We know you will miss her deeply.

The Denny family became special to our family when Brooks and Jeffrey played little league baseball. Jeff was a WONDERFUL coach and Ramona was the BEST cheerleader. As the boys continued to grow, Ramona and Jeff have always been there to offer their insights and encourage us. I will really miss our occasional mom-to-mom conversations. We will always be there for you as you have been there for us.
