Raymundo Munoz Perez

Raymundo Munoz Perez, 50, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, North Carolina.  He was born on May 20, 1970 in Nicolas Bravo, Puebla, Mexico to Eucario Muñoz Cid and Margarita Perez Aguilar.

In addition to his parents, Raymundo is survived by his wife, Teresita Cuevas Ariza; sons Raymundo Muñoz Cuevas and Nicolas Muñoz; and daughter Vanesa Muñoz Cuevas.  He is also survived by his brother, Eucario Muñoz Perez, and sisters Maria Elena Muñoz Perez and Claudia Dulce Maria Muñoz Perez.

Raymundo was a very loving father and husband, an exceptional friend, and a kind person.  He graduated from the Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico City with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, his 20+ experience served for prestigious companies such as, AEG, SCHNEIDER, ABB, AREVA, CG-POWER SOLUTIONS and SIEMENS. He got his license as a Professional Engineer for the State of North Carolina, California, New Mexico, and Texas. He was not only an outstanding engineer, but also a great mentor.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main Street, Wake Forest, NC  27588, with a memorial service to follow in the Bright Funeral Home chapel.
