Richard Edward Dahle

Richard Edward Dahle, 78 of Raleigh, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021.  He was born January 8, 1943 in Crawford County, PA to the late Floyd and Clara Stuvey Dahle.  Richard was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, refereering hockey, and teaching ice skating.  Richard loved watching his granddaughters play softball, and being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Paul Dahle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 56 years, Carol Wood Dahle of the residence, one son, Michael Dahle and fiancé Wendee of Oak Island, NC, one daughter Kimberly Barton and husband Ricky of Wake Forest, NC, two granddaughters, Brittaney Lessner and husband Chris of Dunn, NC, and Cassidy Dahle of Wake Forest, NC.

A Memorial Celebration of Richard’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Service by Father Bill John Acosta Escobar.  Inurnment will follow in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church Memorial Gardens.
