Robert Hennessy, Jr

Robert Hennessy, Jr. "Bobby" as he was affectionately known, passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 57.

Robert was a carpenter by trade and most recently worked with Chapman Construction. He enjoyed fishing off of Harkers Island with friends and traveling with his wife JoAnn. In the summer he loved having family and friends to his home for BBQ's, swimming, fun, laughter, good music and cold beers. Robert was funny, smart and truly loved by all who knew him.

Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert Hennessy, Sr. 

He is survived by his wife JoAnn; his daughter Victoria Hennessy, and JoAnn's 3 sons, T.J., Nick, and Randy. He is also survived by his mother Janice Hennessy; his brother Steven (Evelyn) Hennessy; and his sister Susan "Heidi" (John) Eisele as well as nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, along with many friends and family. 

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at Bright Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 am.
