Robert Charles Tucci

Robert Charles Tucci, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his home in Rolesville, NC.  Robert was born in Queens, NY on October 8, 1941 to Louis and Angelina (Arzente) Tucci. Robert proudly served his country in the US Navy from ages 17 to 21 where he worked on helicopters. He continued his dedicated service by becoming a Suffolk County police officer in Long Island, NY for 30 years.

Mr. Tucci is survived by his wife of 57 years Mary (Sheridan) Tucci; His beloved children Michael Tucci , Karen and James Longspaugh, Leigh Ann and James Russo; Beloved Poppy to his five grandchildren James and Thomas Longspaugh, Brandon Tucci , Ryan and Kayleigh Russo.  He will also be sorely missed by his fur baby Holly Berry…who we all know was his favorite. 

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday in the Bright Funeral Home from 2-4, 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11AM.
