Roy Frazier

Roy Frazier, 87, of Wake Forest passed away on Monday afternoon, March 13, 2023.

He was born in Wake County a son of the late Violet Pearce Frazier and James Robert Frazier. He was preceded in death by his wife; Sylvia Pernell Frazier, daughter; Sherry Annette Frazier, sisters; Barnes McGhee and Thelma Jones, brothers; Earle Frazier and Syl Frazier.

Roy grew up farming and in 1959 went in the store business owning L.R. Fraziers and Son Store in Wake Forest.

He was a member of the Harris Chapel Baptist Church where he had served in many capacities.

A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Friday morning, March 17, 2023 in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his son; Danny Frazier and his wife Donna of Wake Forest, Step-grandchild; Brittany Chandler (Alex) of Charlotte, Sisters; Pearle Keith (Willard) of Wake Forest, Myrtas Baker (Derward) of Raleigh and a brother; Ray Frazier (Sandy) of Wilmington.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Harris Chapel Baptist Church Children & Youth Ministry, 2960 Tarboro Road Youngsville, NC 27596.

Friends may visit with the family from 6 – 8 PM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Wake Forest, NC.
