Russell Emmett Wiggins

   Russell Emmett Wiggins, 74, of Dunn, passed away Friday August 3, 2018. He was born August 24, 1943 in Franklin County a son of the late Marshall and Josephine (Holden) Wiggins.

   A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Oak Level Christian Church in Youngsville. Interment will follow at Oak Level Christian Cemetery.

   Russell graduated from Youngsville High School and attended Campbell University. He enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing. Russell will be remembered for his corny jokes and for his “see you in the funnies” goodbyes.

   He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ardythe S. Wiggins, his son Dwayne Wiggins and grandson Levi Wiggins, his brother Twig Wiggins and his wife Sarah.

   A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. when the service begins.
