Sammy Baker Privette

Sammy Baker Privette, 77, of Youngsville passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at his home.  He was born July 25, 1946 in Wake County to the late Isaac and Emily Nellie Privette.

Mr. Privette was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was a huge NC State fan and he loved NASCAR racing.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Youngsville.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Grace Privette, a son, Thomas Wilder and wife Stacey, a brother, Dale Privette and wife Betty, a sister, Sonia Brogden and husband Joe, two granddaughters, Maggie Wilder and husband Matt Gray and Emily Gayeski, two great grandsons, Owen and Liam Gray, nieces , Audra, Kelly, Terri and Jenny and other family members, Rob and Cathy Harris-Cannon, Mark Cannon, Katie Cannon, Inmer, Mayra and Jordin and Sneijder Martinez and Jeff and Pam Gayeski.
