Sandra Lee (Long) Powell

Powell age 61 of Wake Forest died unexpectedly on Monday, April 10, 2023 in her home. She was born in Heidelberg, Germany on August 21, 1961 to Stanley Lewis Long and Ingeborg Else (Leiner) Long. Sandra was employed for Cisco Communications as a Sales representative for a number of years. 

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Waltman, son in Law, Austin Harris; her two grandchildren who she adored, Jaiden Harris, Madison Harris; brother Thomas Long; niece, Samantha Long and her beloved support dog, Lyco. She leaves behind many beloved friends and neighbors who she loved. She is preceded in death by her dad, Stanley Lewis Long, mom, Ingeborg Else Long and her best friend of 12 years, Junior (dog). Sandy was such a gentle, loving soul and she would do anything for her family, pets, and friends. She enjoyed watching her grandkids, doing anything that involved her dog, Lyco, doing yard work, she loved her pets, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with her daughter and family.

Dear God, we are hurting and broken. We pray you have been and are holding our precious dear Sandy tight, letting her feel how much she is loved and missed.
