Sandra Dianne (Betley) Osman

April 22, 1961 ~ February 18, 2024 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Tribute

Sandra Dianne Osman (Betley), beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend gained her angel wings on February 18, 2024.

Sandy was born on April 22, 1961 in Wilmington, Delaware to Edward Walter Betley and Shirley Ann Betley (Adams). Sandy grew up in Delaware where she later graduated from Delcastle High School. After school Sandy began her lifelong career in the medical field during which she took great pride in helping others throughout her various roles in Human Resources, most recently at Springmoor Retirement Community. In her professional life and at home, Sandy was known for her compassion and her meticulous attention to detail. Outside of work Sandy adored spending time attending to her garden and her many plants, all of which thrived under the care of her incredible green thumb. The kindness and love in her heart extended to all living things and she enjoyed sharing her time as a volunteer for Purr Partners. Affectionately known as the crazy cat lady, Sandy was completely devoted to her fur babies Flurry, Penny, Lacey, Sweetie and Honey Bear. Her love for her pets was matched only by the love of family, and her happiest moments were spent simply enjoying the company of those she cherished most.

She leaves behind to celebrate her memory her husband Ahmed, her daughter Crystal DiMauro-Day (Randy) & granddaughters Brianna and Leah, sister Cindy Ham (Dale), niece Amanda (Mandy) Short (Ronnie), great-niece Adalynn & great-nephew Mason, niece Brandy Basque (Christian) and Holden & Hudson, nephew Michael Daly, nephew Matthew Daly (Allison), niece Alexis Daly (Jordan), nephew Andrew McCusker (Madeleine), niece Angel McCusker and Landon, step-daughter Marwa Osman (Eric) and EJ & Mylo.

Sandy was predeceased by her son Kenneth Miller, parents Edward and Shirley Betley, sisters Linda Taylor and Deborah McCusker, and stepson Munir Osman.
