Sime M. Koscica

Sime Koscica, 90, of Youngsville. went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018. Sime was born in Olib, Croatia and immigrated to the United States in 1960 to make a better life for his family. Sime and his wife moved from Norwood, New Jersey to Youngsville in 2004 after his retirement from the Norwood Public School System.

He was an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest.

His Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 Friday, May 4, 2018 in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 W. Holding Ave., Wake Forest. Entombment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest.

Surviving are: his wife, of 66 years, Yerka of Youngsville; a daughter, Janet Wallace and husband, Bernie; three sons, Anthony Koscica and wife, Denise, John Koscica and wife, Marion, and Sam Koscica and wife, Lorie; grandchildren, Julie, Bernie, Vonnie, Adam, Ashley, Leandra and Nicole; many great and great-great grandchildren; also survived by a sister, Jerolima Jovan of Olib, Croatia.

He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

 Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St., Wake Forest.
