Sonia O'Neal

Sonia O’Neal, 62, of Youngsville passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home.  She was born August 25, 1959 in Wake County.  Her father, Johnnie “J.B.” O’Neal and her brother, Mike Williams preceded her in death.

Sonia was an animal lover, most recently being followed around by her cat Velvet.  She loved being outdoors, at the lake or at a racetrack.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Bright Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow in Falls Community Cemetery in Wake Forest.

She is survived by her loving partner of over 20 years, Wayne Perry, her mother, Linda Williams and husband Jerry, a daughter, Angie West Byrd and husband Daryl, sisters, Rhonda Casey and husband Dean and Lynette Creech and husband David, a brother, Greg Journigan, special uncle, Steve O’Neal and wife Sandi and special aunt, Joyce Duke, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
