Stephen Regl III, 91, resident of Wake Forest for 15 years, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 after a long illness. He was born in Camden, NJ on May 18, 1930 to Stephen and Grace E. (Kromm) Regl Jr. Stephen was employed as a line printer setting type, and later as a printing shop manager for a Pharmaceutical company. He served his country in the Korean War while enlisted in the United States Army.
Mr. Regl was preceded in death by his wife Nancy B. (Bordeau) Regl and brother Robert Regl.
He is survived by his daughter Donna Lee Regl,, a nephew John R. Regl of Columbus, Mississippi, and partner of 30 years, Barbara Barndt of Wake Forest, NC
Stephen was a long time member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in Collingswood, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. While residing in Wake Forest, Stephen was a member of the Senior Memory Makers Group at Wake Forest United Baptist Church before the coronavirus pandemic.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday June 7th at 6pm with Pastor Brian Barndt officiating. All are welcome to attend in the Bright Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment with a Masonic service will be held at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken, NJ on Wednesday, June 9th.
