Ted Gay Pulley

Ted Gay Pulley, 85 of Wake Forest, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Hillside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  He was born March 4, 1936 in Wake County to the late William Raymond, and Marjorie Richards Pulley.  Ted graduated from Rolesville High School.  He attended East Carolina University, Chowan College, and retired after 30 years of service with Westinghouse.  He also enjoyed playing golf.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William Richard “Bill” Pulley. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters Teresa Daunais and husband Nick, Rene Massey and husband Andy, and Susan Patrick and husband Al; three sisters, Lois P. Alford, Lougenia P. Weaver, and Wanda P. Madden; grandchildren, Travis Reyes, Jonathan Massey, Lauren Eaves and husband Jim, Jessica Miller and husband Brandon, Elizabeth Diener and husband Justin, Duncan and Graham Patrick; great-grandchildren, Isabella Massey, Ethan and Lucas Miller, and Laura Diener.

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ted’s name to Rolesville Baptist Church, PO Box 185, Rolesville, NC 27571.

The family would like to thank Wellington Rehabilitation, and Hillside Nursing & Rehabilitation for their loving care of our dad, grandfather, and brother for the past two years.
