Teresa Ann Goodrow

On Monday, November 2, 2020, Teresa Ann Mitchell Goodrow, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter by her side.

Teresa, or Teri as she was known by all who loved her, was born July 31, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Bob and Janette Mitchell. Before Moving to North Carolina, she lived in New Jersey and Florida where she raised two children, Brad and Renee, with her husband Thomas Goodrow.

Teresa was always the person who would give you the shirt off her back, even if you were a stranger, but she lived for her grandchildren. Anyone who met her benefitted from her kind and generous spirit. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the challenge of cultivating flowers and this love lives on in her daughter who uses every one of her mother’s lessons to grow her own beautiful garden.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Bob, her mother, Janette as well as her two sisters, Patricia and Betty Ann. She is survived by her children, Renee and Brad, and her five grandchildren, Mitchell, Henry, Joshua, Jacklyn and Luke and a huge extended family that will miss her very much. The family will have a Memorial Garden Party in the spring to celebrate Teresa’s life and remember her spirit.
