Thomas Hricus Jr.

Thomas Hricus Jr., 85, of Raleigh, passed away October 23, 2019 at Transitions LifeCare. He was born March 5, 1934 in Bridgeport a son of the late Thomas Hricus Sr., and Margaret (Kalakay) Hricus.

Thomas graduated from Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Naugatuck, CT.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Sylvia Hricus.
He is survived by his partner, Doris Banner; his children: Patricia Curtiss (Charles) of Oxford, CT, and Catherine Fortier (Wayne) of Waxhaw, NC; his grandchildren: Charles Curtiss (Tonya) of Oxford, CT, Jonathan Fortier (Tyrrell) of Indian Trail, and Brittany Fortier, (Josh Campbell) of Charlotte; siblings: Marion Bichun of Bristol, CT, Margaret Wallick (Dimitri) of Solon, OH, Michael Hricus (Dorothy of Fairfield, CT; two nieces and two nephews.
