Wanda Rudd Walker

Wanda Rudd Walker, 70, of Youngsville passed away on Saturday Morning June 20, 2020 at the Hillside Nursing Center.

She was born December 13, 1949 in Wake County, the daughter of the late Leonard and Hallie (Thompson) Rudd. Wanda is predeceased by a sister Bonnie Woodlief and a brother Rex Rudd.  Wanda was a loving, kind, devoted wife and mother. She was very committed to her family and grandchildren of whom she loved dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon June 24, 2020 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham.

She is survived by her loving husband Sam and their daughter Sandi and husband Curt, grandchildren; Caitlin and Cole.

 She also leaves behind 3 siblings; Kay Peace and her husband Grady of Franklinton, Ronnie Rudd of Wake Forest, and Ricky Rudd and his wife Donna of Youngsville; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her good friend of over 50 years Diane Baker. She will be missed by many close friends.

Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 Tuesday evening June 23, 2020 at Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Wake Forest, NC.
