Wendy Jalot, 64, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Wendy was born January 31, 1953 to the late William and Anna Johnson in Seaford, Delaware.
A dedicated wife, mother and homemaker, she and her husband, John, raised their family in Wake Forest, NC. Wendy worked in real estate in Wake Forest and Wilmington, but her life centered on her family. She supported her husband and children's activities as a scheduler, chauffeur, seamstress, painter, coach, fundraiser and cheerleader. In later years, she found great joy with her dogs Meeka and Murdock and more than a dozen grand-dogs.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
Wendy was dearly loved by and especially close to: her husband of 46 years, John Jalot; three daughters, Tresa Jalot and husband, Mark Roberts, Suzanne Jalot, and Johnna Jalot and husband, Ryan Swink; her best friend of 53 years, Donna Stevenson; and two special nieces, Gina Pepper and Carla Brown. She is survived by three sisters and a brother, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Wendy requested a donation in support of your local animal shelter or favorite dog rescue.
