William Bervin Cooley

William Bervin Cooley, 89, died Sunday, September 15, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born March 12, 1930 to the late Melvin Bruce Cooley and Meta Frazier Cooley.

William retired after 21 dedicated years from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical Company. He was a US Army Veteran.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2019 in he Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Rev. Gary Vassar will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Wake Forest.

William was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael, two brothers and a sister.

Surviving are: his wife, of 36 years, Doris Jordan Cooley of Youngsville; two sons, Gregg Cooley of Bunn and Andy Cooley of Wake Forest; a step-son, Maxwell Windsor and wife, Connie of Mt. Dora, Florida; two grandchildren, William Cooley of Youngsville and Alicia Cooley of Franklinton; two great-grandsons, Trevor and Jacob Inscoe of Franklinton; two step-grandchildren, Tiffany and Branden Windsor of Mt. Dora, Florida.

The family will be present 1:00-2:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2019 (one hour prior to services) at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest. (919) 556-5811
