William "Bill" W. Perkinson

Mr. William (Bill) Walter Perkinson age 72, of Rolesville passed away after a decline in his health on Sunday January 15, 2023. Bill was born in Wake County, son of John Levi and Margaret Bruce (Vick) Perkinson. Educated in Wake County schools, William received his Master’s degree in Computer Science from NC State University and had retired from IBM where he had worked as a Computer Scientist for many years. He was a member of the Rolesville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of  49  years Debra (Holding) Perkinson of Rolesville; sons Jonathan Ashley Perkinson of Sydney, Australia; and Landon Phillip Wilson of Chicago, Illinois; grandsons Graham William Wilson and Brendan Wesley Wilson; and brother, Phillip John Perkinson and family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rolesville Baptist Church Building Fund 203 E. Young Street  Rolesville, NC 27571 in his memory.

A private service will be held Thursday January 19th.
