Tommy Walden was my co-worker. for twenty years with the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company. Tommy was enthusiastic and serious about his job providing hospital base physicians, medical school residents with the most current medical information relating to life saving ,ethical pharmacuetical products. Tommy was energetic and constantly on the move go to his next appointment when I encountered him at Bowman Gray School of Medicine or UNC school of Medicine. I enjoyed talking with Tommy. He was optimistic and excited about life. He is an iconic individual and an Upjohn legend..

I remember Uncle Tom and Aunt Betty from when I was a young boy. Playing with Tom and Joe was always a good time. I even had the pleasure of spending a few days with them in Nashville when my grandparents were on a trip. The last time I seen my cousins was in the late sixties while we were visiting Savannah. Uncle Tom treated us all to a great meal at Mothers Pump House. A strange name for a resturant but that is what I remember. Jane Ann had to visit a church that Sunday because she had a perfect attendance and Aunt Betty didn’t want it to be broken. A wonderful family led by a wonderful man. My memories are frozen in the past but my love for you and your family go on and on.
