We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
We are fortunate to have had Randy Bright guide us through all the arrangements upon the deaths of both our mother, in Sep 2020 (in the thick of Covid!) and just recently, of our father (June 2023). Randy's decades of knowledge and experience is wrapped in a tender, "family first" compassion that made us feel as though we were his sole concern. We deferred a memorial service until late July and each week he checked in, ensuring all of the details were being completed to our satisfaction. He communicated with the out of town crematorium (several hours away where our father had resided), the church, the florist, the newspaper, the cemetery, the Veterans Administration, posted the obituary on the Bright website, and then reposted several weeks later as the service date neared with live streaming information. Every single encounter was respectfully caring. He was the consummate professional while yet being appropriately personable--a terrific combination for such a position. On the actual day of the church service, followed by the cemetery service, we were attended to by Randy, plus his courteous, equally professional crew of Jill, Ellis, Lee, Al and Bradlee both at the church and at graveside. We wanted for nothing! Water bottles, tissues, fans, ample seating for us older folks...every need was met! In the days since, working out details for the gravestone has been easy. What a "bright" spot along the journey of grief. THANK YOU, Randy and Company!
Bright Funeral Home has helped with numerous family burials over the past 45 years. Very professional & caring people.
Unfortunately we all have the need for funeral services. We need to make sure that we choose a staff that will give our loved one the dignity and respect they deserve and to help handle some of the tasks that go on when laying a beloved to rest.
Brad O'Neal & Ms. Celeste Hunt with Bright Funeral & Cremation services are the ones.
Brad and Ms. Celeste also helped us when getting signatures on the first trip to the home as well. The only place and persons that you will need. From the very first call, Brad was engaged and did not miss a beat until we had the Mass. He came to the home to deliver the paperwork and to collect signatures, he made sure the Obituary was posted promptly and properly for friends and family to read. He did everything step by step and made this difficult time so much easier for us. He recommended a Florist thst I will also review. They were perfect too. I have a huge amount of respect for this young man. He truly is in the right profession. Comforting, Caring,Compassionate well beyond his young years.
Call Bright for your Funeral or Cremation Services, you will not be disappointed

Can’t say enough about the professionalism and compassion at this place. we were here from the Boston area to give my father in law his day. Amazing staff and service
I can not say enough good things about my experience with Bright Funeral home in taking care of the memorial service for my mother. I was planning from out of state and Amie was amazing. She made things easy, and was so friendly and accommodating. On the day of the service she and Bradlee took such good care of me and my family. You could tell that they really cared about making everything run smoothly as well making us feel cared for and supported. I would definitely recommend them!
I could not be more pleased with the service provided to our family when my momma, Joyce, passed. Bradlee and Johnny treated us with the most professional manner with the utmost dignity. Their service to our family began by picking up my momma from our farm where she passed. Bradlee and Johnny were incredible. Their duty to our family was to prepare her body for transfer to our family home in South Carolina. When I went to view my momma after the preparation, I could not believe how wonderful and natural she looked. We were able to be present during the transfer of the body and again we were treated with incredible professionalism. I can not praise Bright Funeral Home enough.
The Caudle, Brooks, Roberson, and McClelland Families wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Bright Funeral Home for the acts of love, concern, and support with the passing of our beloved Mother Virginia Diane Roberson in June 2022 and Brother Dr. Solomon Fabian Caudle in January 2022. The professionalism and service provided during our time of bereavement enabled us to celebrate the lives of our loved ones with the spirit of excellence they both deserved. The support and guidance received, especially by Celeste on the business matters beginning at the introductions, through planning, financial matters, burial matters and selections, the development of the picture tributes, and communication with the appointed churches which were different in both occasions allowed us to focus on the personal matters and gave room for us to mourn their loss without disruption, especially during the covid pandemic. Their kindness was a source of comfort, and their gentleness made our experience beautiful and the memories on the day of celebration of both family members will forever be engrained in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
We have received numerous remarks of the Homegoing Services and how it blessed, encouraged, and inspired many to recognize, desire and be grateful for the love of Christ and to live a life demonstrating this great love. Bright Funeral Home help make that possible on both occasions and for that we say thank you and recommend your services to others.
John F. Kennedy said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.” Bright Funeral Homes practice is one of excellence as they are committed to serve and not just hired, and this was demonstrated in the way they conducted themselves and responded to the families need.
May the Lord bless and keep the Bright Funeral Home Family and Staff, may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace!
For the bottom of our hearts, we say thank you!
Bright Funeral & Cremation Center in Wake Forest, NC has been providing our family services since the mid 1960's. They are the most amazing caring/supportive family. The entire staff treated us with dignity and respect at each and every event/level. They go above and beyond expectation and attentive to every single detail. So many times at a time like this you just aren't thinking clearing and they take that burden upon themselves before and after the services to help you anyway they possibly can. They also serve/support the community of Wake Forest and surrounding areas with their loving hearts in charity work. We can't begin to thank the entire family enough for what they do and mean to the area. God, continue to bless Randy Bright and his family as they make the world a better place and are such a blessing to this area.
Thank you for all your help. The video and service was very special.Thank you from Ohio
I am writing this review to thank Tommy Bright specifically for all of his help when my mother passed away unexpectedly. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate all that he did. Tommy is prompt, polite, and very professional. My mothers service and burial could not have been more perfect. The whole process went smoothly and Tommy was available for my family at all times. It can be very overwhelming to lose a loved one. I am forever grateful to Tommy for making the whole process as easy as possible. He should be an example for all funeral directors.
I wanted to thank Bright Funeral Home from the bottom of my heart. My mother passed away right before the New Year's Eve making it the toughest holiday by far for my family. My mother was battling terminal illness and was exhausted by her disease for months: she became very thin and fragile as the end of her life journey was approaching. Before she passed away, not only she was deeply worried about how we would be able to afford the funeral financially, but also about how unrecognizable she would look from her illness. The financial situation hit us hard, however, Bright FH helped us to find the best solution to our problem, and helped us to take care of things along the way. I cannot thank enough Mr. Christopher Ellis, who not only made us feel welcome and secure, but did an astounding job on making my mother look as a sleeping angel. We had a small private ceremony, but it was very sophisticated and perfectly planned. Staff was respectful from the moment they arrived at our home until the moment we said our last goodbyes at the Memorial Park. Thank you!
Our family was overwhelmed with the support we received from Bright Funeral Home during the loss of our brother. A special thanks to Randy who guided us with care and kindness during this difficult time.
My wife, Polly, passed away on June 1, 2020, in the midst of the confusing period of COVID - 19. While her illness was not related to COVID, the logistical turmoil created by regulations governing funeral services were a nightmare. Not only were they restricting to Bright Funeral Home, but to our church, as well. Plans for appropriate service venues had to be changed several times, as well as being coordinated with an out-of-state burial service already scheduled, including transportation of the body and travel arrangements for several members of the clergy and funeral home staff. As changes occurred, Bright Funeral Home immediately stepped up and resolved these problems, almost transparently. In the end, the two visitation services, the funeral service in Wake Forest, and the graveside service in Mississippi went flawlessly. And the venue here in Wake Forest couldn't have been nicer. I couldn't have wished for a greater level of caring, support, and professionalism than I experienced in dealing with the Brights and their staff. This was truly five-star service!
My family and I were shown what it was like to be cared for by professionals who were dedicated to providing the best service ,for our loved one's, funeral that we could have asked for. Craig, Shelia, Cory, Connor and I (Betty Pearson ) are so blessed by choosing Bright Funeral Home to meet our needs . Tom would have been very pleased with the beautiful service in his honor.
I want to thank everyone at Bright Funeral Home for the love, kindness during the recent loss of my mother. They made this difficult situation as smooth and hassle free on me and my family. I will be grateful them standing by my side during some heated family conflict. Again thank you Betty, Tommy,Scott and the Admin staff. I will ever be grateful.❤️
I am shocked and saddened to learn of Greg’s passing. Gregg was a kind, carding man who was so generous and was always willing to do anyone a favor. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him both personally and professionally. Rest well, Greg. You earned it.
