Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the time I spent with my awesome Aunt Vivian, and my cousins, Ronda, Mickey, and Stevie. My sister Delores, my cousins, and I had some great times together growing up, while my Mom, and Aunt Vivian tried their best to raise us all "right"...... I think they did a pretty good job. The incredible adults her children have grown to be is a testament to what a wonderful mother she was. I truly regret that since my dad died, we all kind of quit getting together. My Mom and I talked recently about doing just that.........It just shows how very precious our time here on this earth really is. I am so grateful that I got to talk to her before she went to join her Heavenly Father........my thoughts and prayers are with all of her friends and family. I love you Aunt Vivian.........until we meet again.....~Little Doug~

VIvan and I were sisters by love,not birth.
I was married to her brother Doug for 29 yrs. Before he died.
Viv and I raised our children together.Shared so many good times together.We laughed together,cried together.
Our children were very close growing up.Funny how kids then could have fun just being together.
Viv was a kind lady&liked simple things.She cared so much for her family.Her life wasn't always easy.
Sis,I'll miss you .Enjoy your celebration with our Saviour and your loved ones .You no longer suffer here on earth.
I'll see you when my time comes to enter Heaven.What a glorious day that will be.
You have a wonderful family that loves you.

Aunt Vivian was my favorite Aunt. She was kind, compassionate, sincere, and very giving. She raised my cousins to be just like her and she instilled it in me and Doug also. Even though Aunt Vivian and my Mom were not blood related, they had a love and respect for each other that was so close and special.
My prayers and love go out to everyone that loved my Aunt. (Matthew 5:4)

VIVIAN WILL BE BY SO MANY OF US. I HAD PRAYER WITH HER ON OUR FAVORITE PLACE (FB) WE ALWAYS HAD SOMEONE TO PRAY FOR. SHE ASKED ME THE LAST TIME SHE WAS ON TO PRAY FOR ME SANDI, I AM SO WEAK. Rhonda, Stevie,Mickie, my heart is broken. Your Mother was one of the most precious people I have been blessed to know. She loved you three so very much! I loved her like my family,she was so special to me. I talked to her the day before she left the nursing home and then she left me a message that she was home and would call me next day.She sounded good, but I never heard back from her,so thought she was just getting her strength back.Charles called me yesterday with this news.God bless you all . . . . . . . . . .
